Design Logos Like A Pro

A logo is the image which represents a company or its product. Its function is to create a memorable, recognizable impression on the mind of a potential customer. A logo is the heart of a corporate identity.

There are three basic types of logos, which can be combined within a design:
Illustrative Logos (illustrate what the company does or service)
Graphical Logos (logo that includes a graphic, often an abstract design)
Font-Base Logos (a text design which represents the company)

Creating a logo is a process, even dough many designers have their own method. Most designers will begin by sketching shapes or images. Own way to start is to draw a shape that represents the concept of the company and begin playing with it. The idea is to come up with something interest or clever.

Many designers prefer to develop logos that consist entirely of text, by experimenting with different fonts. Simplicity is extremely important when creating a logo. Creating a logo design that is to complex can turn customers’ way.

Color for a logo should remain simple but eye catchy. You can always get fancy with the web version, but a good logo must work well in one color. Most corporations accept colors that relate to there company identity or personality. Pay close attention to color tone. Too many bright or contrasting colors can lose the customers interest.

A logo should be simple and abstract, not to complicated or confusing. All elements must be considered with creating a logo.
